“The Walk towards Freedom Continues!”

The Clinton Memorial AME Zion Church in partnership with Coming to the Table’s North Fork Chapter and the Anti-Bias Task Force hosted Greenport’s first Juneteenth celebration in 2023 to commemorate what became an official federal holiday in 2021. The Town of Southold issued a Proclamation in 2024 to officially mark the day and celebration.
